April 5, 2024

Jennifer has made the decision to continue her physical recovery at home. So, released from the restorative care center, she is now at home to prepare for a trip to Whidbey Island as soon as she is up to it.... hopefully before the end of April.

March 29, 2024

The medical situations have been treated and are gone leaving Jennifer very weakened. As with anyone who has been in hospital unable to move around, her physical strength is problematic. Therefore, she was admitted into a restorative care center to have the necessary physical therapy so she can return home.

March 22, 2024

Jennifer had her regular chemo treatment on Thursday, March 14, 2024. What had been the 'norm' is that about 7-9 days later, her body did some form of 'crash'. That happened again and today she was admitted to the hospital with flu, mild sepsis, and urinary tract infection. She is reallllly sick.

March 17, 2024

After 6 weeks in Tulsa, OK. to support Jennifer's complimentary processes, I fly home to Washington. Today we got the results of Jennifer's quarterly test scans...ALL were normal... liver, bones, brain, abdomen area, heart etc. Cancer undetected!
Her doctor said he would entertain her taking breaks, perhaps more time between treatments. Also, if she decided no more chemo, they would continue to monitor, test, and ... if needed... get her back on chemo.
This after she had been told two+ years ago that her Stage 4 Metastatic return of breast cancer would require continuing chemo. And, perhaps she had two years to live.
He was pleased that the type and amount of chemo brought this unexpected result.
What he doesn't know is her total program.
